Jamshedpur: A 40-year-old man, identified as Parmeshwar Singh Sardar, was allegedly beaten to death following a minor dispute in Regatadih village under Sunder nagar police station area.
According to reports, the accused, Budhray alias Anthul (20), entered the victim’s house around 10:00 am in an intoxicated state and sat on a cot. When Parmeshwar’s mother, Maino Singh Sardar, and his wife objected, the accused became aggressive and attacked his mother with a stone, leaving her injured.

Parmeshwar reached home around 11:00 am and, after learning about the incident, went straight to the accused’s house in Regatadih.
An argument soon escalated into a violent clash, during which the accused allegedly assaulted him brutally. Parmeshwar sustained critical injuries and died on the spot.
Police were immediately informed. Sundernagar OC Ajit Munda said the accused has been arrested promptly. The body has been sent for post-mortem after completing legal formalities.
The accused also sustained head injuries during the altercation. Police have launched a detailed investigation into the case. The incident has sparked anger among local residents.
