Jamshedpur: A man, identified as Gurba Kunkal, a resident of Jaskandih under Parsudih PS, allegedly beat his wife to death on Sunday.
The deceased, Renuka Kunkal, succumbed to critical injuries after being assaulted with lathis by her husband.
Cops arrested Gurba from his house. The latter had just returned from Madhya Pradesh. He was arrested on the information of local residents.
Investigators suspect the man killed his wife after suspecting her to be in an illicit relationship with a neighbour.
