Gamharia: Gamharia police Thursday arrested one Sahdeo Mahato for allegedly killing his son, Sadhucharan mahato.
Cops said the accused had assaulted his son with a bar on 10th February last. Sadhucharan had sustained critical injuries in his neck which proved fatal. His father hid his body later near railway tracks.
According to Jai Prakash Rana, officer in-charge of Gamharia PS, the accused father had hit his son in anger after the latter showed tantrums at home. Demanding food, Sadhucharan had kicked a boiling pot in his house. His sister in-law and niece were injured in the incident.
