Jamshedpur: A male leopard cub, Bobby, died today, around 4 pm reportedly as a result of sudden choking of throat by a piece of meat. This caused blockage of air passage leading to death due to suffocation, sources said.
Sources said Bobby was a healthy leopard cub and had no pre-existing medical conditions. Further details will be known only after the post mortem examination is conducted.
Bobby was born to Shiva and Ved on April 24, 2013 at Tata Steel Zoological Park, sources said.
