Malaria department distributes medicated mosquito nets

Jamshedpur: East Singhbhum district malaria department distributed 2150 medicated mosquito nets in the 10 villages of Potka block on Thursday. The health department officials distributed mosquito nets in Rimda, Balijuri, Baliposh, Dudhkundi, Sialdanga Shikra, Patharbhanga, Balijuri and Rangamatia. The officials said Sohda panchayat had been declared as a malaria affected zone by the Central government. A two day camp was organized at Balijuri panchayat building for distribution of mosquito nets. The campaign was led by Sunil Tirkey of district malaria department.
