Ranchi, June 23: Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Thursday said that maintaining law and order is everybody�s responsibility.
He said that the government means to serve without fear or favor with accountability and transparency.
Praising the police for controlling Naxalism, the CM said that urban crimes need to be reigned.
He said it while addressing a public gathering after distributing appointments to 82 candidates in state police service, state jail service, and state probation service and excise inspector.
The CM said that there is no political interference in the state government and nobody is free to rob the government funds.
The government keeps an eye on the activities of officers and awards good officers.
There is no room for irregularity in the government instant action will be taken on wrong doers. Process is on to fill 1.16 lakh vacancies.
Expressing concern over accidental death, the CM appealed to wear helmet and seat belt.
He asked to launch a campaign to make the people aware about it.
If required, fine people who break the rule.
He asked to deal strictly with people who drive in drunken state even after 9 p.m. It has to be checked to decrease accidents.
Thirty-six�state police service, nine jail superintendents, 29 probation officers (PO) and eight excise inspectors were distributed appointment letters.
