Jamshedpur, May 14: The first ever Neuro conference of Eastern India is going to be held at Tata Main Hospital (TMH) in Jamshedpur on 17 and 18 May, said that Dr. MN Singh HOD of Department of Neurology at TMH.
The conference will provide benefit to the budding doctors and Neurologists in and around Jamshedpur, we have sent invites to medical students, government doctors, private doctors of Chaibasa, Kharagpur and other locations around the city, added Dr. Singh.
Talking to scribes at TMH conference hall, Dr. Singh informed that Jharkhand Neurological Society is organizing Mid-year CME of Association of Neuroscientists of Eastern India at TMH and expecting around 200 delegates to be a part of the conference.
The main reason behind organizing the conference is to keep the medical fraternity abreast with the latest techniques and knowledge in field of Neurosciences which is taking place by leaps and bounds, added Dr. Singh.
He further informed that during the conference speakers will talk about problems like Head Injury, headache, Epilepsy, Stroke, Parkinson�s disease, Dementia, Myasthenia gravis, Lumbar Spine disease, Sleep disorders , Brain Tumor, Brain Hemorrhage and many others.
Also present at the meet Dr. DM Prasad said, we are inviting guest speakers from renowned hospitals of the country including Dr. AK Mahapatra, Director AIIMS, Bhubaneswar, Dr. UK Mishra Prof & head of Neurology, SGPGI, Lucknow, Dr. Subhash Kaul Prof & head of Neurology, NIMS, Hyderabad to name a few.
The conference scientific session will kick off at 9 am on May 17 but the official inauguration will be held at 5pm by the chief guest Anand Sen, President TQM & Steel Business, Tata Steel.
At the press meet Dr. Wasim Akhtar, Dr. Rinku Bhargav, Dr. Manish, Dr, Jeevesh Mallick and others were present.
