Jamshedpur: Har Har Mahadev Seva Sangh is all set to host a cultural soiree, on last Monday of Sawan on August 20 evening. The programme has been dedicated to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee who passed away on August 16, said Amarpreet Singh Kale.

Popular Bhojpuri singer Manoj Tiwari will perform at the Sakchi Gurdwara grounds.
Har Har Mahadev Seva Sangh, a philanthropic outfit, will host the well-known folk and devotional singer and his 12-member troupe.

Addressing a news meet at Sakchi Gurudwara ground, the venue for the event, on Saturday, Har Har Mahadev Seva Sangh founder and former state BJP spokesperson Amarpreet Singh Kale said the event would be organised on grand scale.

We are really thankful to Manoj Tiwari who despite his busy schedule agreed to participate in the programme. He was scheduled to participate in an event in New York on August 20 but he agreed to cancel it and participate in the steel city programme. This shows his love for Jamshedpur, said Kale.

A huge waterproof pandal covering over 35,000 square feet is being constructed at the venue . The 1 km stretch of Kalimati Road in front of Sakchi Gurdwara would be illuminated on both sides.

Another attraction will be a 10 feet high Shivling made of ice specially for the event, said Singh adding that they were expecting a turnout of around 25,000 people for the event that will start at 6 pm and continue till midnight.
