Jamshedpur, June 4: A sports event was organised on Tuesday at Madrasa Rahmania, Mango, as part of the ongoing summer camp conducted by Aman Welfare Society. Several children, including Md Arkam, Md Shadab, Yakub, Alfaz, Mahfooz and Arshad, emerged as winners and were felicitated with gifts by chief guest Dr. Afroz Shakeel.
The event saw the presence of Imam Maulana Hafiz Abdul Jabbar, Tahir Hussain, Md Shahid and other members of Bari Masjid. Former national footballer Md Shafiq also interacted with the children and shared valuable fitness tips.
The primary objective of the summer camp is to promote sports and fitness awareness among madrasa students. The camp is scheduled to conclude on June 11 at Gandhi Maidan, where children from 15 different madrasas will be honoured for their participation and achievements.
