Ma Santoshi annual celebration commences

Jamshedpur: The Nishkriti Sangh at Aditya Homes in Sonari has organized the annual two day Ma Santoshi Utsav. The Utsav commenced with a ritualistic procession with women devotees wearing sarees in traditional style. They held a basket each in which a lighted lamp was placed. All along the route from Aditya Homes to Sonari Ram Mandir and then the return journey, the devotees spread flower petals and colours.
On Monday December 17, the programs will include prayer rituals between 9am and 12:30 pm. Prasad will be distributed from 1 pm onwards. At 6 pm, arti and devotional songs will be performed.
