Loyola’s Gaurangi tops Jamshedpur in ISC Commerce

Jamshedpur, May 7:� Loyola School students yet again proved their mettle by scoring top ranks in ICSE and ISC exams, the result of which were announced on Tuesday afternoon. Srishti Vaidya of the school was crowned the second national topper and Jharkhand topper scoring 99.75 % marks in ISC class 12 (Humanities).

Gaurangi Chopra of the school was the city topper and second state topper scoring 99.5 % marks in ISC class 12 (Commerce). Ishan Jalan was the second city topper in ISC commerce scoring 98.5 % followed by Aastha Agarwal and Pranjal Vig with scores of 96.75 percent each.

Other ISC Arts toppers were Aditya Nath 96.75 % and Shefali Singh 96.5 %. In ISC Science Jayant Krishnan and Arsalan Malik were joint school toppers scoring 97 %. They were followed by Priyanshu Mohanty 96% on the second spot while Ayush Singh and Shivam Singh were joint third with 95.75 % marks each.    

Father Pius Fernandes, principal of Loyola School, congratulated the students and said that Srishti Vaidya has made the school and city proud. It is the result of teamwork of students and their teachers.

He expressed satisfaction over the outcome of the results. “Our students have shown their mettle in the academic fields. We wish them all the best for their future,” said Father Pius.
