Jamshedpur: The Sports Department of Loyola School successfully organised the Summer Sports Camp 2026 from May 11 to May 16, turning the school campus into a vibrant centre of athletic enthusiasm, discipline and teamwork. A total of 315 students enthusiastically participated in the week-long camp.
The primary objective of the camp was to provide structured sports training and professional guidance to students during the summer vacation, helping them utilise their holidays in a productive and healthy manner. The initiative focused on improving physical fitness, technical skills, mental alertness, teamwork and self-confidence among participants while also encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle.
Speaking on the occasion, Fr. Vinod Fernandes SJ, Principal of Loyola School, said the camp offered specialised coaching sessions in Athletics, Basketball, Badminton, Football, Cricket, Handball and Volleyball under the supervision of experienced coaches and physical education instructors.

Throughout the camp, students actively took part in intensive practice sessions, fitness drills and team-building activities. Apart from sharpening sporting abilities, the camp also helped students develop qualities such as discipline, perseverance, leadership and sportsmanship.
The school administration appreciated the efforts of Sports Coordinator Dale Anthony Passagne, members of the Sports Department, coaches and participating students for making the Summer Sports Camp 2026 a grand success.
