Jamshedpur, Dec. 12: Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West organized an inter-school mega quiz competition dubbed �Quiz Time� at the United Club on Friday in the memory of late Rotary member Rita Narayan. Class 9 and 10 students from 24 city school participated in the contest.
Loyola School emerged the winner of the contest, while Jamshedpur Public School (JPS) was the runner-up. Vidya Bharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya (VBCV) ended at the third place, whereas Hill Top and Tagore Academy along with other top three schools were selected for the preliminary round.
Suriya Nayar was the Quiz Master. To make the event successful, Alakananda Bakshi, secretary of Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West, and others provided their full support.
Bakshi informed that late Rita Narayan was a very active member of the club and was the wife of Om Narayan, former managing director of Tayo Rolls.
