Loyola School wins first edition of Quiz Coz at Rajendra Vidyalaya

Jamshedpur, Aug. 29 : Loyola School won the first inter school quiz organised by Rajendra Vidyalaya at its auditorium on Wednesday. Well known quizmaster Giri Balasubramaniam from Bangalore conducted the contest. Loyola School defeated Narbheram Hansraj English School.

The second runner up was Mount Litera Zee School.
Students from classes IX to XII from 40 schools participated in the quiz. Six schools – Loyola School, DAV Public School Bistupur, Mount Litera Zee School, Narbheram Hansraj English School, Sacred Heart Convent School made it to the finals beating 388 students from 194 teams in the written preliminary round.

GiriBalasubramaniam from Bangalore-based Greycaps hosted the on-stage final, the round comprised of including general quizzing, visual round, clue round and who am I.

Principal of RajendraVidyalaya, Rakhi Banerjee said that this was the first time the school organised such an inter school competition.

“We are really overwhelmed to see the response. We want to make it an annual event. We have organised this kind of a quiz competition for the first time which has been very successful,” said Banerjee.
