Loyola School Jamshedpur wins BookWorm LitQuiz at Gulmohur High School

Jamshedpur, Dec 21: Over 600 students from 34 schools and NGOs gathered at Gulmohur High School on December 21, for a vibrant Interschool Literary Carnival, marking the institution’s 70th anniversary of educational excellence. The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Sunil Kumar Tiwari, Head of Jamshedpur Plant, Tata Motors, and the Guest of Honour, Manoj Kumar, District Education Officer, East Singhbhum, alongside several principals from various schools and other dignitaries from the education sector.

One of the highlights of the carnival was the BookWorm LitQuiz, a competitive event that tested students’ knowledge of literature. The winners of the event were: 1st place – Loyola School with Manvi Meghani, Kripa Bhatia, and Ryan Gracious Bannerjee; 2nd place – Hill Top School with Sharad Mamidi, Aditi Kriti, and Vanshaj Nilesh Rangooni; and 3rd place – J.H. Tarapore School with Nishtha Kumari, Aaradhya Agarwal, and Dasu Keerthana.

The carnival also featured the “Flair Their Fantasies” Book Fair, which encouraged literacy and sustainability by offering pre-loved books at nominal prices. The proceeds from the book fair were earmarked to support education for underprivileged children, ensuring that the event contributed to a larger social cause.
