Gamharia: Bringing pride to Adityapur and Jamshedpur, Gyanesh Pathak, a Class 9 student of Loyola School (Senior Section), has achieved remarkable success in the International English Olympiad, part of “The World’s Biggest Olympiads 2025–26.” He secured a silver medal with an impressive International Rank 2 within his zone.
Gyanesh also emerged as the top scorer at the Jamshedpur level and achieved an overall international rank of 307, marking a significant accomplishment on the global stage. Known for his academic excellence, he has consistently performed well in various competitions.
A resident of Adityapur, Gyanesh is the son of Uday Shankar Pathak, an official at Tata Steel, and Dr. Supriya Lakshmi Mishra, an Assistant Professor at Jamshedpur Women’s University. His grandfather, U.P. Mishra, is a respected astrologer and a retired railway official.
This is not his first achievement. Gyanesh has previously won three gold medals in different competitions. He has also received prestigious honors such as the SOF International General Knowledge Award and the SOF National Science Award. Additionally, he showcased his versatility by winning a gold medal in a drama-based arts competition at Loyola School.
His latest success has brought immense joy to his family, teachers, and well-wishers. The achievement highlights not only his dedication and talent but also serves as an inspiration for other students in the region to strive for excellence at national and international levels.
