Jamshedpur, Nov 10: A one-day “Tech-Expo” was organized at R.V.S. College of Engineering and Technology, Jamshedpur, under the chairmanship of R.V.S. Educational Trust Chairman Binda Singh. The event aimed to encourage innovation and scientific curiosity among students.
Senior journalist Sanjay Mishra was the chief guest, while distinguished guests included Dr. Biraj Kumar Sahu and Dr. Suman Tiwari, Principal Scientists at CSIR-NML; Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, Principal of Adityapur Polytechnic; Dr. Nagendra Kumar, Assistant Professor at NIT Jamshedpur; and Preeta John, Principal of R.D. Tata Technical Education Centre.
In his address, Mishra praised the students for their innovative projects, saying science exhibitions like the Tech-Expo nurture the next generation of researchers. Dr. Sanjeev Kumar urged students to develop inventions that solve real-life challenges, while Principal Prof. Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari highlighted the importance of fostering scientific curiosity from a young age. Treasurer Shatrughan Singh assured continued support from the management for such events.
Over 300 participants took part in the expo. In Team Eklavya, Loyola Jamshedpur secured first place, followed by LFS Jamshedpur and Kavyapta Global. In Team Lakshya, Loyola Jamshedpur again won first, followed by Vivek Vidyalaya and GMV Sirali, Bihar. In Team Arjun, IDTR Jamshedpur bagged first, Bhagalpur second, and BIT Sindri third.
In Robo War, Angad (Srinath University) won first place, while Team Steel Village (R.V.S. Academy) topped the Robo Race category.
