Loyola School Jamshedpur Hosts Nursery Orientation For Parents, Students

Jamshedpur: Loyola School Jamshedpur hosted its Nursery Orientation programme at the Fasy Auditorium, welcoming parents and young learners as they begin a new academic journey. The event aimed to familiarise parents with the school’s ethos and build a strong partnership in early education.

Rector Fr. Michael Thanaraj, SJ, opened the programme with a prayer. Principal Fr. Vinod Fernandes, SJ, addressed the parents and highlighted their crucial role in shaping their children’s future. He stressed that every child deserves to grow in a happy, healthy, and safe environment.

During the session, the school introduced the Tarumitra Centre for Ecology to parents. The initiative, being developed as a biodiversity park in Mango, will include a residential facility where students can spend weekends learning about ecology and nature through hands-on experiences.

The school screened a video presentation highlighting the previous academic session, giving parents a glimpse into campus life. Vice Principal Vineeta F. Ekka explained the school’s expectations from parents and shared practical tips to help children adjust smoothly to their new environment.

Teachers introduced themselves to the parents, helping them connect with the educators who will guide their children. Students of Std IV and V performed a prayer dance and a melodious prayer song, adding an emotional touch to the event. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.

The school also conducted orientation sessions for parents of LKG to Std V in two batches. Loyola School expressed optimism about building a meaningful and collaborative relationship with parents as the new academic session begins.
