Jamshedpur: Loyola School, Telco, came alive with rhythm and melody as the Entertainment Club organised SONIQUE 2025, its annual Intra-School Solo Singing Competition, on Saturday, June 28. The event, held in the Senior School Hall, provided a vibrant stage for students from Classes 4 to 10 to showcase their vocal skills and musical talent.
The morning began with a warm welcome by anchor Sandhya Kumari, followed by a heartfelt address by Trisha Roy, who expressed gratitude to participants, faculty and the audience for their enthusiastic support. The event was organised under the guidance of Tr. Saurabh, Tr. Richa and Tr. Dipti, who ensured the smooth execution of the programme.
The competition featured three categories, each judged by experienced faculty including Moushami, Kanchan Tirkey, Reshma, Anna and Rohit Herenj. In Category 1 (Classes 4 & 5), Cynthia Chaki (5C) and Shibansu Pangrahi (4B) secured first place. Yatharth Das (6A) and J. Jephthah (7A – Brainard) topped Category 2, while Aditi Raj (10B) won the first prize in Category 3.
“Such events help students grow in confidence and creativity,” shared one of the organisers, highlighting the school’s continued commitment to nurturing young talent through performing arts.
