Jamshedpur: Loyola School, Junior Section, celebrated the achievements of more than 330 students during its 67th Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony held at the Fasy Auditorium on Tuesday. The event was witnessed by students, parents, faculty members, and alumni.
The programme featured colourful dance and singing performances presented by students of the Junior Section. Neetu Sardana was honoured for completing 25 years of dedicated service as a teacher in the Junior Section.
The awards recognised excellence in academics as well as students’ commitment to the school’s mission of becoming “men and women for others.” In a first for the institution, 26 students received the Percent Attendance Award for maintaining 100 per cent attendance throughout the academic year.
The most prestigious honours of the evening included the Master Loyola Award (Chitrajeet Ghosh Memorial Trophy), jointly awarded to Arnav Bhalotia and Maya Koh. Naman Deo received the Runners-Up Award (S. P. Dubey Memorial Trophy), while Nivanshi Navya was presented the Smt. Nibhanani Bhattacharya Trophy as the Best Outgoing Girl Child.
Principal Rev. Fr. Vinod Fernandes SJ, PhD, addressed the gathering and highlighted the vital partnership between parents and teachers in shaping successful students. He emphasised that strong collaboration between home and school provides the foundation for a child’s overall development.
