After the inter-school talent contest, Horlicks Wiz Kids, students are again set to witness a fun-filled cultural and literary fest.

Rhapsody-2014 is an annual cultural and literary fest of Jamshedpur Youth Organisation for Tomorrows India (JYOTI) an organisation of city-based schools to promote young talent .

More than 1,000 students from 21 city schools are expected to participate in the day-long event, scheduled on August 18.

The JYOTI unit of Loyola School has made special arrangements to make the function a memorable one this year. This year, the fest will witness more than 25 fun-filled and creative events.

Other than the regular events quiz, western and eastern group dances and collage-making categories several fun filled events have been introduced this year to make the function different and more interesting.

This year the events will be held at Tata auditorium and we want to make it unique. We have introduced new events to attract students and give them a platform to display talent and win accolades too, said a member of JYOTI.

Though the fest witnessed a lot of mismanagement and differences between students, leading to a tussle in the previous years, this time the officials of JYOTI will take precautions to prevent any untoward incident.

The aim of Rhapsody is to unite students of various schools and foster friendship among them, Father Sebastian, principal of Loyola School said. The participating schools have also started preparing their teams for the fest.
