Loyola Alumni Association inspires Class 12 students to stay connected for life

Jamshedpur: The Loyola Alumni Association (LAA) conducted an engaging session titled “From Students to Loyoleans for Life” on Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Hall for the Class 12 students of Loyola School.

The session aimed to familiarize students with the objectives of the Alumni Association and encourage them to remain connected with their alma mater even after graduating.

LAA President Fr. Vinod Fernandes delivered the welcome address and opening remarks, setting the tone for the event. Senior Vice President Rajiv Talwar elaborated on the Association’s role in strengthening lifelong bonds among Loyoleans. Secretary Pratim Banerjee gave an overview of LAA’s various initiatives and contributions, while Talwar also introduced the students to JAAI (Jesuit Alumni Associations of India) and WUJA (World Union of Jesuit Alumni), emphasizing Loyola’s link to a global Jesuit network.

The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment led by Vice President Savak Patel, where students enthusiastically engaged with the speakers. The event ended on an inspiring note with the singing of the Loyola Anthem, instilling pride and belonging among the students as they prepared to become alumni themselves.
