Jamshedpur, Feb 4: After losing in the Tata Workers Union (TWU) polls which concluded on February 1, Arvind Pandey who was the erstwhile deputy president and lost badly to Sanjeev Choudhary for the post of president, has joined duty from Wednesday.
Though as per rules the outgoing executive committee members can join duty after February 12, the day when the election officer would hand over certificates to the newly elected executive committee members.
Arvind Pandey is currently doing duty in the general shift at the Coke Plant unit of Tata Steel however his other team members who lost the poll are yet to join the duty.
Meanwhile, Tata Steel MED design representative Ch Srinivas has been elected for the fourth consecutive term and a felicitation ceremony was organised at his department.
