Jamshedpur, July 27: On the auspicious occasion of Sri Aadi Krithikai, pujas and archanas were performed today for Lord Karthik at Sri Dharma Saastha temple located at Kharkhai Link Road, Bistupur.
As part of this, maha abhishek was performed for Lord Karthik, followed by Sahasranama archana. After this, maha arati was shown and prasad was distributed to hundreds of devotees present.
In the evening, again pushpabhishek was conducted wherein 1008 names were chanted by the temple priests while performing archana. After maha arati was shown and prasad was distributed to the devotees. Temple priests Shri Shankar Bhat and Shri Nagraja Bhat performed the abhishek and pujas.
Visweswaran, Treasurer, Sitarama Sharma, Joint Secretary, Shiv Kumar, Joint Secretary and many committee members were present who actively helped in successfully organizing the pujas.
