Lok Samarpan reaches out to anganbari children

Jamshedpur: City-based social organization Lok Samarpan distributed uniforms, school bags and study materials among the students of anganbari centre in Sitaramdera on Sunday. CDPO Durgesh Nandini welcomed and felicitated Lalit Das, president of Lok Samarpan, along with the sevikas and other staff of the anganbari centre in Sitaramdera-2.

In his address, Das said the anganbari centres were close to the community living around them. He said the anganbari centres provided a number of facilities to the people including nutrition and vaccination to pregnant women and their children. He said the East Singhbhum district was way ahead from other districts of the state.
Das, who celebrated the birthday of several children today, further said that Lok Samrpan had set the foundation for a health community in Jharkhand. He said all anganbari centres in the state were performing say.

Also present on the occasion was Durgesh Nandini. She said the outfit had worked wonders in a small time, owing to the effective leadership of Lalit Das.
Among others present on the occasion included Priyanka Singh, CDPO, Sadar, Neeraj Kuma, Gyan Singh Chouhan, Deepak Singh, Abishek Agrawal, Ritesh Dutta, Pradip Kumar Dubey and Sumit Kumar.
