Jamshedpur: The second anniversary of city-based social organization Lok Samarpan was celebrated on Tuesday at Bal Vihar, Sonari. The outfit president Lalit Das and other members spent time with the 180 pupils of the school. School bags, stationaries and books were distributed among the children. Food packets were also given to the students.
Das along with the school officials and children planted saplings on the school premises. He was welcomed by Sister Iris. A function was held at the school on this occasion.
Das said Lok Samarpan was dedicated to the service of poor and under-privileged people. He said the outfit members were ever ready to serve the society.
Among others present on the occasion included Neeraj Kumar, Subhash Mukhi, Arnav, Pradip, Rupesh Kumar and Sandesh Choudhary.
