Jamshedpur, May 18: The Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) will celebrate its Platinum Jubilee with a grand inauguration ceremony on Sunday, May 25, at Loyola School’s Fasy Auditorium, Jamshedpur. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will grace the event as the Chief Guest.
The ceremony will also witness the presence of Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth, former Jharkhand CM Arjun Munda and Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato. More central ministers may also attend, according to SCCI General Secretary Manav Kedia.
SCCI President Vijay Anand Moonka highlighted the organization’s legacy, saying, “Founded in 1948 and registered in 1950, the Chamber has been the voice of over 2,500 members, directly and indirectly representing over two lakh individuals.”
He added, “It’s a matter of pride that for the first time a Lok Sabha Speaker will visit Jamshedpur and witness its vibrant culture. This event will be a milestone in our journey.”
SCCI has previously marked its Silver Jubilee and Golden Jubilee and this Platinum Jubilee will feature a month-long series of high-profile events involving prominent personalities.
