Ranchi: A rock band competition called Pitchfork will be organized by the District Administration of Ranchi for voters� awareness on 27th April, 2019. The rock band competition will be one among many other events which will be organized to create awareness about voters� rights and duties. The competition will take place at Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Stadium in Ranchi. The theme of the event is �My Vote, My Voice�.
�Vairagya�, �Reciprocal�, �Sector 16�, �Cryosleep�, �Reggaeton�, � Skyline�, �Eternity India�, �Magic Bridge�, �Existence Ranchi�, and �Urban Sages� are the bands which have cleared the preliminary rounds and made it to the finals. The bands will perform tonight in Ranchi. This was decided by campus ambassadors from several colleges across Ranchi at a meeting with the District Administration to create awareness among the first time voters of the capital through a rock band contest. The participants will use songs to create awareness among the first time voters on the importance of their votes.
