Little flower school triumph in ‘Prayas-2017’

Jamshedpur, Aug. 13: Motilal Nehru Public School (MNPS) organised ‘Prayas-2017’ in the school premises on Saturday. The event was a grand success with thirty schools participating in a series of truly creative on stage and off stage events like Cantare, Debattimento, Act de Mime, Confectioner, Piste de Danse, Senarvo, Alcazar, Maquesttisme, Photomontage, Scoperta, Cruzadas and Herstellung.
The event anchored by Sanchit, Susmita Jha , Ankita Shah, Tista, Atiya and Shumyl reflected a perfect blend in co-ordination. While Little flower school (LFS) emerged the winner, Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS) had to be content with the runner-up position.
Little Flower School was declared the winner in three off stage events including- Herstellung, Photomontage and Scoperta. LFS was declared the runner-up in events including- Maquesttisme and Cruzadas. In one of the on stage event- Cantare- Little Flower School was declared the runner-up.

Carmel Junior College bagged the award for best discipline school. At the on stage events- Cantare-Loyola School was the winner followed by Little Flower School and KSMS. In Debattimento-Carmel Junior College was first, Loyola was second while Little Flower School was third.

In Confectioner (Junior) – Loyola School bagged the first prize, JH Tarapore School was second while DBMS Kadma was third. In Confectioner (Senior)-Loyola School was first, DBMS Kadma was second while JH Tarapore School was third.

In Act De Mime- RVS Academy was first followed by KSMS Hindi and Narbheram Hansraj English School. In Piste de Danse- Jusco School South Park was the winner followed by RVS Academy and DBMS.

Earlier in the morning, the inauguration was done by Akhilesh Dubey, Chairman, School Managing Committee in presence of Ashu Tiwary, Principal, Event Moderators Keya Adak and Gargi Saha Samanta.

Principal of School of Hope and Asha Kiran and Asst. Secretary of P.A.T.H were also present on this occasion. The competition is organized every year to bring together the youth of Jamshedpur on a common platform and sensitize them on an issue of concern on Revolution of Technology. Jyoti unit had donated seventy five thousand to Ekal Vidyalaya, School of Hope, Asha Kiran and P.A.T.H which was collected by entry fees of participants and audiences of different schools of town.

In the day�s event, renowned dancer Fahran, a student of M.N.P.S depicted the Prayas theme. Dr. D. P. Shukla, secretary, School Managing Committee, Ashu Tiwary, Principal, M.N.P.S and Vice-Principal, Dr. Ritu Choudhary gave away the prizes to the winners. In his speech, D.P. Shukla lauded the efforts of the Jyoti unit of the school in sustaining creativity amongst youngsters. He also appreciated the efforts put in by the Jyoti unit members and the Moderators Keya Adak and Gargi Saha Samanta.
