Jamshedpur, August 6: Four months of vigorous brainstorming culminates in one of the biggest events at Little Flower School (LFS) in August. This year, as in earlier times, the two day ODYSSEY – 2022 too was two day extravaganza that had layers of entertainment that included dance, music, fun, food and entertainment.
The students of Std X with help from their reassuring teachers, plan this programme meticulously to make ODYSSEY a mode to inculcate social values wrapped in entertainment.
The two day ODYSSEY — 2022 had innovative models on science, history and geography that reflected creativity of student participants.
Tata Cummins HR Head (Operations), Manish Jain as the chief guest inaugurated the two day event that commenced with the all-time special item, a dance by the Student Council members that drew extended clapping and unhindered screams of excitement. Intricate choreographic patterns, melodious Western and Eastern song renditions and instrumental expertise in solo and group formats, quiz and Antarakshi events, ramp walk and other equally engrossing events were innovative that caused an overflow of adrenalin. The food stalls that were organized by the LFS teachers were beehives loaded with palatable delights.
The chief guests on the closing day, August 6 were Alka Sinha and Sangita Chatrath who gave away prizes to the winners of keenly contested events. The award winners were Rudranu Sarangi of Std 7 B (Individual Trophy for maximum awards for junior category for girls), Naman Bharadwaj of Std 7 C ( IndividualTrophy for maximum awards in Junior category for boys), Shourya Lakshmi of Std 10 B (Individual Trophy for Senior Categfory for girls), Naval Singh of Std 10 B (Individual Trophy for maximum awards won for boys in the Senior Category), the Class Championship Award in Junior Category (7 B) and Class Champiuonship Award in Senior Category (Std 10 C).
LFS ODYSSEY Organizers said, “Along with enthusiasm and fun activities, the qualities of sensitivity, creativity and togetherness are also inculcated in the students through such events. Keeping its values intact, our School offers the right kind of education system based on ethics. We believe in such type of education that allows a child to bloom, blossom and thrive by providing them the right platform where they will work towards becoming responsible citizens.”
