Jamshedpur : Little Flower School on Tuesday felicitated the toppers of the ICSE and ISC 2014 examinations. The students Ajit Kothari, Abhijit Tripathy, Divya Anand Sinha and Ananya Ghosh who cleared the IIT-JEE examination, and Swati who cleared the AIPMT Examination, was recognised by the school.
Speaking of his experience, Mridul Kothari passed on a few words of advice to the students gathered in the auditorium, and thanked his teachers who have contributed to his success over the years.
The Chief Guest, Nilesh Kumar, assistant general manager, Town Administration, Tata Motors, delivered a most inspiring message to the students and staff. He noted he enjoys reading Ratan Tata�s inspirational quotes, and desires to follow in his footsteps. Kumar concluded with a stimulating quote of Mahatma Gandhi.
Several students were given awards for their extraordinary achievements in academics, sports, cultural and extra-curricular activities: Mrs.Srivastava Award (for highest marks in Hindi) went to Shivangi Lahiri, Steffi Sequeira Award for excellence in sports was bestowed on Daniel Joseph Green, Mrs Prasad Award for best behaved student in Class XI went to Lovely Oasis Sundi, Bharati Mukhopadhyay Award for excellence in academics and extracurricular activities was handed to Mariah Candice Sneyd, Achievement Award for remarkable improvement in general average Abhishek Kaushik, J.N.Tata Centenary Award for the student with the highest general average) went to Shreyasee Mitra, Best Girl Shivangi Sinha and Best Boy Sumit Aich.
