Little Flower School crowned winner of ‘Hunch’


Jamshedpur, July 30: Little Flower School (LFS) emerged as the overall champion of the Inter-School fest ‘Hunch’ organised by Dayanand Public School (DPS) at its premises on Saturday. LFS students won most of the events during the day long fest. Loyola School and Narbheram Hansraj English School were the joint runners-up.

All together eight event were held. Staring with Turn Coat- V.G. Prerana of DAV Bistupur was first followed by Aerena Ganguly of Loyola and Rishika Agarwal of KSMS.

In the Anchoring competition- 1st prize was bagged by Wamshika Maskara & Shreya Srivastava of Loyola School, Prashun Dash & Anishur Khan of St. Mary’s English School were second and Sheta Jha & Abhishek Das of KPS Burmamines were the second runners-up.

In World without friction- Vaibhav Kumar, Avneet & Shirsodeep Biswas of Narbheram Hansraj English School were first followed by Riya, Nityanand & Pawan of RVS Academy and Mayank, Stinson & Megha of Little Flower School.

In the Dance competition- First prize was won by Uma Maheshwari of JH Tarapore, Dhatkidih; Sudeshna Jha of Little Flower was second and Sayantika Majumdar of Loyola was third in the event.

In the Power point presentation- Aditya Sharma, Sanchali Brahma of Little Flower School won the event. 2nd prize was won by Soumya Bhardwaj and Vanshika of DBMS Kadma while 3rd was bagged by Ayushi Kumari & Diyasha Banik of JH Tarapore, Dhatkidih.

In the event Chemical powered car- 1st prize was won by Soumya & Satwik of Rajendra Vidyalaya, Harsh & Adarsh Anand of DBMS Kadma were second while Ritik & Divyanshu of NHES were third.

In Pencil sketch competition- Pretheesh Maiti of Little Flower was first followed by Sakshi Sharmaof Church School Beldih and Ipsha Vats of JH Tarapore, Dhatkidih.
In Battle of Bands- St. Mary’s English School, Bistupur was first followed by Narbheram Hansraj Eng. School and RVS Academy.

Earlier, Dr. R. N Sharma, Chairman of Jamshedpur Arya Samaj Trust, inaugurated the programme in presence of Principal Swarna Mishra, 14 eminent judges, members of school’s managing committee, principal, teachers and students. Students of 21 schools of Jamshedpur participated in the competition.
