Jamshedpur, April 28: The East Singhbhum Excise Department has detected an illegal mini liquor factory by raiding at Babudih in Sidhgoda on Friday. The team raided and recovered a total of 17 crates of liquor from the spot. The estimated value of the recovered liquor is said to be Rs 1.50 lakh.
The Excise Department seized the liquor and brought it to its office where further action is being taken.
The Excise Department had received information that a mini liquor factory was being operated illegally at Babudih in Sidhgora. On information, the team raided. However, seeing the team, the operator fled from the spot. From the spot, the team recovered holograms and stickers, besides empty bottles of spurious liquor and branded liquor sold outside Jharkhand.
