Jamshedpur, May 8. The matter of embezzlement of lakhs by Jitendra Kumar Yadav, in-charge of composite liquor shop located in Govindpur, has come to light. In this regard, Purushottam Kumar Gupta, working as an assistant in the shop, has lodged an FIR at Govindpur police station.
Purushottam has told the police that he is working as a helper in a composite liquor shop. Jitendra Kumar Yadav is in charge of the shop. All the accounts of the shop are looked after by Jitendra. On February 25, people came to see the accounts of the company. At that time, Jitendra had absconded after not reconciling the accounts. After much persuasion, he returned on March 9.
After reconciling the accounts, it was found that Rs 11,19,000 had been embezzled. The account of so many rupees is not available. He has told in the complaint that Jitendra used to take online payments on his phone, which he did not account for. Police have started investigation after the complaint.
