Lions Jamshedpur Steel City bags best club award

Jamshedpur, June 19: The Annual District Award of Lions District 322 A which stretches from Sasaram in Bihar to Dumka in Jharkhand and led in the Centennial Year by MJF Lion Rajnish Kumar as the Centennial District Governor was held at a city hotel on Sunday.

More than 300 awards at club level were presented by the district Governor in which more than 250 Lions from across the District attended.

The fifth Cabinet Meeting too was held in which many resolutions to help Lions and Clubs to render voluntary services in a much better way and promotion of Leadership at all levels were deliberated and decided.

The Cabinet Meeting was Chaired by District Governor Rajnish Kumar and attended by Second Vice District Governor Sanjiv Poddar, Immediate Past District Governor Kanchan Singh, Past District Governors S C Bhargava, A K Srivastava, Sudipto Mukherjee, Nalini Mukherjee and Rajeev Ranjan. The District Award Committee was headed by Past District Governor Nalini Mukherjee.

Lions Club of Jamshedpur Steel City bagged the best club award (30 or below members). Lions Club of Giridih Town won the best club award (31-60 members) while Lions Club of Ranchi East won the best club award (60 and more members)
Vandana Mishra of Jamshedpur Steel City and Anita Gupta of Giridih Jagriti bagged the Best President Award in Group A.

Indrajeet Singh Soin, Daltonganj and Manoj Goyal, Hazaribagh won the Best President Award in Group B. Sunil Kedia of Ranchi East and Dr T P Barnwal of Ranchi won the Best President Award in Group C.
