Jamshedpur, April 7: International Association of Lions Clubs, District 322A will host district conference ‘JOSH Is High’ at a hotel on NH-33 on 8-9 April.
The district conference will be led by District Governor 2022-23 PMJF Vivek Choudhary.
Addressing a press meet on Thursday, Vivek Choudhary informed that it will be a historic moment for the district as after 9 years the people of Jamshedpur will be hosting the event.
Chairman of the district conference is Past District Governor PMJF Rahul Verma who is a member of Lions Club of Sasaram.
Vivek Choudhary said that chief guest for the two-day event will be past International Director (PID) Bishnu Bajoria while guest of honour is Principal Commissioner of Income Tax Jamshedpur Shishir Dhamija.
Motivational Speaker at the conference will be Dr Rajeev Puri from Mumbai.
The program will start at 9 am on April 8. Cabinet meeting, business session, public speaking contest and banner presentation by Leo & Lions Clubs will be held. Business session will held on day 2 of the conference. More than 400 people are expected to participate in the event, added Choudhary.
