Jamshedpur, July 31: A medical camp was organised by Lions Club Jamshedpur Tatanagar in Humid village in Chandil in the Saraikela District in which local villagers and nearby areas came for checkup in spite of continuous rain all through. Dr. Avinash Kumar. Singh,General Physician, Dr. Vivek Kedia, Eye Specialist, Manish Kumar, Optometrist supported by a medical team checked 85 persons and provided free medicines.
The medical camp was ably supported by Bihar Sponge Iron Limited and Company. Its Director Aditya Modi, R K Sharma, Senior General Manager too attended the camp and encouraged their employees to get themselves checked. The programme was organised under the leadership of Club President Sanjiv Kumar, assisted by Saikat Nandi, Club Secretary, Past Presidents Lion Subrato Dey, Arunanagshu Dutta Roy, Club Treasurer Harsha Vardhan, Binay Kumar, Arun.
