Lions Club donates wheel chairs to MTMH

Jamshedpur : Members of Lions Club of Jamshedpur, the oldest Lions Club of Jharkhand, keeping its tradition of addressing the need of the community, once again came forward to the and donated two wheel chairs to Meherbai Tata Memorial Hospital to cater to the movement of patient admitted with cancer while getting treated and getting clinical tests done.

In a simple function held today at the Diagnostic Center of the cancer hospital, the club members led by its President Gamharia T.S.Biswas, Gamharia S.P.Srivastava, Gamharia Sarit Srivastava, Gamharia Sahadeo Prasad, Gamharia Urmila Prasad, Gamharia Kety M. Malegamwala, Gamharia Dr. Kety Bathena, Gamharia Dilip Gandhi, Gamharia J. P.

Singh, Gamharia Vinita Shah, Gamharia Sunita Bhagat, Gamharia Purabi Ghosh, Gamharia K.M. Prasad, Gamharia Umshawar Sharma, Gamharia Dr. S. Ghosh, Gamharia Sanjay Sharma, Gamharia Manoranjan Mishra. Both the chairs have been donated by Gamharia Sahadeo Prasad and Gamharia S P Srivastava, Secretary. They both along with their spouses who are also Lion members Gamharia Sarit Srivastava and Gamharia Urmila Prasad immediately came forward.

Lions Club of Jamshedpur will soon be donating a Water Cooler to the hospital as requested by them. The Chairs were handed to Dr Mrs B R Master, Director, Dr R Wagji, Superintendent.

Gamharia Rajnish Kumar, Hony.Secretary, Meherbai Tata Memorial Hospital and Second Vice District Governor of Lions Clubs International was also present on the occasion and facilitated the programme.
