Jamshedpur, Sept 10: Lions Club of Jamshedpur donated two Air Coolers to Meherbai Tata Memorial Hospital (MTMH) for use in the OPD and indoor wards where patients suffering from different types of cancer are admitted for treatment and recovery.
The two coolers donated by two lion members of the club Sanwarmal Agarwal and Pankaj Dutta were handed over to Dr B R Master, Director, Meherbai Tata Memorial Hospital by Ajay Pandey, President in the presence of Rajnish Kumar, First Vice District Governor who is also the Hony. Secretary of the Meherbai Tata Memorial Hospital.
Expressing her happiness Director Dr B R Master appreciated the efforts of the Lions Fraternity of Jamshedpur and said that Lions Clubs have always come forward to help the hospital whenever any request is made to them. She urged the Lion member to help the hospital with one water cooler too.
Rajnish Kumar also complimented the members of the Lions Club of Jamshedpur and said that any institution big or small if they join hands together much could be done for the welfare of the community and society.
Ajay Pandey President while welcoming appreciated the generosity of the two club members and assured of continued cooperation to the hospital. Stota Dasgupta, Secretary extended vote of thanks.
Vinita Shah, Region Chairperson, K M Prasad, Aarti Pandey, Subrato Das, J P Singh, Katy Minu Malegamwala, Savitri Singh, S P Srivastava and other Lion members were also present.
B K Todiwala, Md Hasmatullah, G A Ramakrishna from Meherbai Tata Memorial Hospital were also present on the occasion. Kety Bathena, Past President of the Club who coordinated with the hospital and donors Sanwarmal Agarwal and Pankaj Dutta were also present.
