Jamshedpur : District and Additional Judge court on Friday sentenced the accused Narayan Baske and Shakuntala Soren to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 25,000. If the amount of the fine is not deposited, the punishment period will be extended by six months.
Advocates R Pradhan and DN Bhagat and PP Sanjay Sinha debated the matter. Devidas Soren, resident of Jadugora police station, had filed a case on both of them on 7 June 2018.
Narayan Baske and Shakuntala Soren were accused of killing Devnath Soren and keeping his dead body in the house.
