Chaibasa, September 1: Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) Chaibasa division celebrated 60th Anniversary of LIC at its Chaibasa Badi Bazar situated office on Thursday, September 1.
The Block development officer, Sadar Chaibasa, Mukesh Machua inaugurated the program by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Addressing the gathering, BDO said that Life Insurance is very much essential for financial protection.
The poor people get benefitted from these insurance schemes. BDO also said that LIC pays the ensured amount to its customer timely.
BDO also warned the public to be aware of chit fund companies which are spreading like mushrooms.
The authorities of LIC distributed fruits in the hospital and gave away essential items to the physically challenged people.
Present during the function was LIC Chaibasa wing manager Manish Prasad, assistant manager Rama Chandra, Sukhram Singh Munda, development officers and staff in large number.
