Jamshedpur, September 1: Sports Department of Tata Steel organised Community Sports (Ladies) on 27th Aug 2016 at B. Ed College, Seraikela on the occasion of Dorabji Tata Birth Anniversary.
400 ladies had participated in the event jointly conducted by Sports Dept and TSRDS.
Events of 100 MTR Run, 400 METER Walk, Sack Race, Pick & Run Race, Basket Run, Shot Put were held.
Punam Kumari, Renu Bhadoria, Purnima Mahato, Hassan Imam, Arvind Prasad, Mrinmoy Patra conducted the entire event.
Chief Guest for the occasion was Dr. R L Mohanty, Retd.(IAS), Director Institute for Education, B.Ed College, Seraikela.
He distributed the prizes to the winners along with Guest of Honour Babu Lal (Raja Saheb of Duguni), Durga Haibru, (Narayanpur Panchayat), Parvati Sardar (Duguni Panchayat) and Binu Tipu ( Kandra Panchayat).
