Jamshedpur: The 53rd annual sports day of Little Flower School (LFS) was held at Sumant Moolgaokar stadium in Telco on Saturday.
The theme of this year’s sports day was ‘Together for Peace’.
Series of event were held during the day long sports extravaganza. It all started with drill display by kindergarten to class 10 students. Races, drill, march past and relay were also conducted.
In the tug of war (Girls) – Blue House was crowned the winner and in the boys category Green House was declared the champion.
Athletic championship saw some intense battle where students of Red House won the event in the girls’ category. In the boys class Yellow was declared the winner.
Red House also topped the inter house march past contest.
The Stephie Seuiera memorial trophy for inter house drill contest was bagged by Green House. Vipin Tomar memorial trophy for best captain was won by Jibin Biju. Last but not least the overall championship trophy was bagged by Yellow House.
Chief Guest for the occasion was Tata Motors plant head Sampat Kumar. He handed over the trophies to the winners. Chandraprabha Singh and RK Singh were also in attendance.
