
Jamshedpur, July 27: Little Flower School (LFS) bagged the first position in the ASISC Zonal Inter School Quiz competition organised by Hill Top School, Telco.
LFS has been crowned the winner in both junior and senior category and has also qualified for the Regional Level ASISC Quiz which will be held on 9th August 2019 at Don Bosco Academy, Patna.
The runners up teams were St. Mary School, Naomundi in Junior Category and Hill Top School in Senior Category
Altogether 21 schools participated in the competition. Young, dedicated and most talented students of the esteemed schools of CISCE in Jamshedpur and surrounding areas attended the event.
The Quiz Master for the day was Vinod Mennon, who is an eminent quiz master from the city.
The competition was conducted in two Categories, Juniors (for Classes upto 10) and Seniors (for Classes 11 & 12).
After a gruelling Preliminary round, 6 schools were shortlisted for the finals in each category. In junior category- Little Flower School, St. Mary School, Naomundi, DBMS, Carmel Junior College, Narbheram Hansraj English School and Tagore Academy were shortlisted. In the senior category- Hill Top School, Little Flower School, Loyola School, Narbheram Hansraj English School, Sacred Heart Convent School and Rajendra Vidyalaya were part of the top six.
