Jamshedpur, June 24: The lockdown has seen parents carrying out a delicate balancing act, juggling their own workloads with the educational needs of their children. While for some children, it meant just staying home and studying, on the other side, the lockdown provided many with the time and freedom to explore their inner self and discover what they like to do best, or what they can do better.
Remember it is in the darkness that the light is seen to shine brighter. Well, Sonal Jaiswal, a student of Class 7 of Little Flower School (LFS), Telco, wasted no time during the lockdown. She kept herself busy and made use of every opportunity to participate in competitions of her choice. Thus, the school and her parents were proud to see her top the Lexicon Super Speaker Contest organized the by Lexicon group of Institutes, Pune, earlier this month.
Sonal was required to upload a 60-second video of herself speaking on a topic of her choice. Out of 288 entries in four categories, Sonal was among the best 15 in her category. Based on the scores set by the judges and the number of votes polled, Sonal was declared the Best Speaker in category-3 – English. Little Flower School thus made its mark once again in the national arena.
