LFS felicitates meritorious students at annual award ceremony

Jamshedpur, June 22: The Annual Award function one of the most important functions of Little Flower School (LFS), which marks the end of the academic year, was held in the school premises on Friday.

Ronald D�Costa, chief executive of the Boulevard Hotel, presided over the solemn ceremony held in the LFS Auditorium, and gave away prizes and awards to the meritorious students for the year 2018-19.

Several students received awards for their accomplishments in academics.  Mrs. Srivastava Award (cash award for highest marks in Hindi) went to Shambhavi Singh and Akshata Singh. Steffi Sequeira Award (cash award for excellence in sports) was bagged by Nelen Mejhran Minz. Mrs. Prasad Award (for best behaved student in Class XI) was received by Tanushka Bhattacharjee and Shaquib Ahmad. Achievement Award (improvement in Class XI) was bagged by Rehana Perween.

Bharati Mukhopadhyay Award (for excellence in academics & extracurricular activities) was won by Priyanshu Srivastava. J.N. Tata Centenary Award (for the student with the highest general average) was received by Kashish Agarwal.

Tanushree Tripathi Award (trophy and cash for excellence in academics and extra-curricular activities) was bagged by Kashish Agarwal and Shounak Goswami

Best Girl award was received by Hridhima Dabhade and Best Boy award was won by Shounak Goswami.

The toppers of the ICSE and ISC 2019 examinations were also awarded for their exceptional results in the Board Examinations.  The topper of the ISC Batch, Shruti Sonal, received certificates and trophies and a cash award of Rs.20,000 for her brilliant performance.  While students were awarded for their achievement in each subject, those who scored 100% in any of the subjects, were awarded Rs.5000 per subject.  Rounak Sarangi received a total of Rs.15,000 having scored 100% in three subjects in the ISC Commerce Stream. Jakso James received a special award from his Chemistry Teacher for scoring 100% in Chemistry in the ISC Science stream.
