Ranchi, July 10 : Water, forests, land and climate is our heritage & plumbline of Jharkhand. We will have to preserve it. To handover green state to our generations we must work together, said CM, Raghubar Das. Jharkhand government is all set to start green credit campaign, he further added.
According to Das – under green credit campaign proportionate plantation drive will be launched to compensate trees cut off due to road widening & building construction works. CM was addressing �Mission 1 crore saplings� campaign in the city.
Chief Minister further added – Now time has changed & people have become conscious of their duties. Success of our water conservation drive has proved that mass collaboration in any campaign ensures success. During his address CM cited Harmu river beautification drive & lauded media support in mass awakening.
Das appealed the gathering to make plantation drive successful with their active participation. He called upon the people to plant at least 5 saplings on the occasion of birthday celebration of their kith & keen.
While elaborating the benefits of plantation CM Das gave examples of holy rituals and economic advantages of plantation. During the function CM planted saplings .
Dr. Jeetu Charan Ram, MLA. Kanke, Ram Kumar Pahan , MLA Khijari, Sanjeev Vijayvargiye, Deputy Mayor and other dignitaries attended the function.
