Saraikela, Aug 22: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) to organized a legal aid awareness camp for Para legal Volunteers (PLVs) for Begnadih and Hindusai villages. The PLVs who participated in the camp included Bittu Prajapati, Kunal Godsora, Radheshyam Mahto, Alok Sahu, Dinesh Kumbhakar, Hari Kumbhakar, Yashomati Mahto and Lakshmi Devi. They were given detailed information of legal aspects related to helping villagers.
Laws and rules regarding Job, Ration, Unorganized Labour and BOC Cards and the procedures for registration and placement in schematic jobs for migrants and villagers were discussed at the camp. Briefs on Foster and Care projects aimed towards facilitating scholarships to orphan children were also given. Child labour Prohibition and Regulation Act related POCSO Act was discussed in detail. The PLVs were instructed to get the temperature and breathing problem symptoms should be regularly checked. Special stress was laid on sanitary and social distancing aspects.
