Jamshedpur, July 21: A legal empowerment camp was organized at Jai Prakash Narayan Community Buiolding in Baharagora under the aegis of District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Jamshedpur, on Sunday. It was held in collaboration with the Sub Divisional Legal Services Authority, Ghatsila. The chief guest of the occasion was Ram Bachan Singh, District Judge, Ghatsila.
During the camp, the participants were informed about various laws dealing with a number of offences and social evils. The participants were informed about the evil of mob lynching, its impact on society and ways to prevent it. They were asked to cooperate with the police and district administration and curb lynching deaths by exercising caution and vigilance.
Other dignitaries present during the programme included Kumar Pawan, Manoj Kumar Sharma, Shivendu Dwivedi, Abhinav Kumar, Krishna Lohra, Walter Bhengra, Amar Kumar, Lalit Prasad Singh and Heera Kumar.
