Seraikela: A legal awareness camp was organized at Shatrushal Upgraded School on Sunday under the aegis of District Legal Services Authority, Seraikela-Kharsawan.
Hundreds of villagers from various blocks of the district visited the camp and benefitted from free legal counseling and consultation. The villagers also learnt about the legal aspects of various relevant issues such as allocation of Indira Awas units.
The DLSA officials said the villagers should fight for their legal rights and should not just sit back waiting for justice. They informed the villagers about various social evils such as witchkilling, dowry killing and child marriage. The camp was attended by Ajit Kumar Singh, Partha Sarathi Das, Ganesh Gorai and Atma Mahato
